Join us for an interactive Q&A with two of the best electricians in the field in the Berkeley area!


Pre-Meeting – 5:30 to 6:50 pm

Eric Meyer, Chapter Treasurer, will discuss a recent inspection of a 1950′s house designed by Clarence Mayhew.

Brian Cogley, Chapter President, will provide a report writing analysis associated with home inspection deficiencies.

  • This training is FREE to those attending the Chapter business and education meeting. Attendees earn one ASHI CE.

Dinner — 6:45 pm

We suggest arriving early to ensure dinner availability. WE RESERVE DINNER IN ADVANCE. Registrations received after 5/6/2018 will NOT include dinner. We also cannot accept cancellations or postponements after 5/6/2018.

Chapter Business Meeting  — 7:00 to 7:45 pm

Chapter President, Brian Cogley, presides as chapter members discuss Chapter news as well as local and national home inspection matters. This meeting is open to all (including non-members) and guests are welcome with questions, or to simply learn more about the home inspection profession.

“Electrical Q&A”

Our speakers this month are brothers Daan Rottger and Inder Rottger of The Fighting Amish Electric, a small family-owned electrical contracting company established in 2004.  The Fighting Amish are hands-on, do all their own work, and strive to bring high-quality, detail-oriented work to residential and light commercial electrical projects.

Daan and Inder are hosting an informative Q&A session featuring YOUR questions about all things you see in the field, common or uncommon!  If you have questions, please email them in advance to   Join us to learn the answers to a broad variety of interesting electrical questions!

Attendees earn one ASHI CE.

Registration and Fees
  • $45 with registration by 5/6/2018
  • $55 with registration after 5/6/2018, same-day registration, or ‘at the door’
  • Registrations after 5/6/2018 or “at the door” DO NOT INCLUDE DINNER
  • We are unable to accommodate attendees to ‘listen only’.  You must purchase dinner to attend the meeting.

Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable to other dates as we pay for dinner in advance.  If you register and fail to cancel by 3/5/2018, you will be charged as the chapter will be charged for your meal.
